jACTheRentalCalendar

jAC is an online Availability Calendar for owners. You can display availability data from ANY popular calendar in a variety of themes and options. You can search availability, and access your data through RSS feeds, ICAL feeds, or the API. Let jAC automatically create a website for you.

Welcome to jACTheRentalCalendar

jACTheRentalCalendar is a simple to use availability calendar.
jAC is a HOSTED service, so you just link to this calendar from your site.
One Alternative is to immediately link your calendar to an existing calendar you already use from another service, such as Rentors.Org, or HomeAway.Com.
No usernames or passwords needed for the linking.

The jACTheRentalCalendar site is not intended as a "destination" for rentors, so there is not much to do at this site if you are not a registered owner maintaining your calendar!

This site is simply for owners to enter availability data and use the links of your calendar from your own website, or another rental site.

An API for developers

Most owners will have no need for the jac API because the basic links provided give everything they need. However, some may want to do more. The API is a way for you to access YOUR CALENDAR DATA regardless of what calendar you use and do whatever you want with it.

You or your website designer could use the API to create innovative solutions to UTILIZE YOUR booking data, regardless of the calendar vendor you currently use Look through the site and the XML API examples.

We've used the jacAPI to pre-build WEBSITE INTEGRATION for WordPress Blogs, Open Realty CMS, and some other CMS. We've also generated some custom [groupsites|GROUP SITES]] using the API.


Install on YOUR Server

If you are not satisfied with the hosted version of jAC, the full jACTheRentalCalendar site can be licensed and installed on your server.
This is intended for someone who has many properties to manage; or for a web site developer who wants to offer calendars to several clients. It really isn't worth the effort for a few properties. You will have complete control over the look and feel of the jAC site and calendars.
